Forgetting Those Things Which Are Behind
Saturday, January 5, 2019 by Pastor Bell

We providentially landed on these verses last week as we were preaching through the Book of Philippians.  When Paul wrote these words in Phil 3:13, he was not advocating actually forgetting, but putting past accomplishments and well as failures behind him so that he could move unimpeded toward the goal that was set before him.

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”  Phil 3:10

We also need to not rest on our laurels.  We need to press forward with renewed fervor to know Jesus Christ better every day.
